PERMANENT MAKEUP FAQ
WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?
Permanent Makeup or Cosmetic Tattooing is a technique that applies permanent pigment into the dermis (skin) that allows a desired look to be achieved that resembles makeup. It can be used on the brows, lips, eyes and other areas of face.
DO I NEED A CONSULTATION & PATCH TEST BEFORE GETTING PERMANENT MAKEUP?
Every appointment comes with consultation time already booked into it. However, if you wish to book a consultation to be patch tested for allergic reactions, we recommend you call us so we may help you book a consultation & patch test appointment prior to booking a permanent makeup service.
You may call us at 770-906-5701.
WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
All of our products are professional grade permeant makeup products available to professional permanent makeup artists. For client safety and health reasons, we use single use items only. Our pigment line of choice is Permablend, a high quality professional pmu and tattooing pigment line. Our tattoo needles are all sterile and single use.
HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOOED BROWS & LIPS LAST?
Pigment retention is not something that we can predicted. Each client will have varied results as to how well their skin retains the pigment. Results will vary based on your age, health, lifestyle, and the care you give your brows and lips. On average, brow and lip permanent makeup can last 1-3 years before a touchup is needed.
CAN I SWIM, SHOWER OR EXERCISE WITH MY TATTOED BROWS AND LIPS?
Yes. Your brows and lips are waterproof, smudge proof and sweat proof. The only exception to getting them wet is during a short period of time while your brows and lips are healing from being tattooed. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions during your appointment.
